Hybrid Learning Spaces

The interface of physical and digital learning landscapes is one of the central future challenges of the design of learning settings. Here, it is imperative to design interactive objects. Interconnected, collaborative furniture (multitouch tables, hybrid objects, etc.), as well as mobile media (tablets, smartphones, etc.) shape the premise for operating in both realms, simultaneously.
Enhancing this with the technical innovations of augmented reality, as with the aid of interactive glasses, e.g. Google Glasses, creates additional possiblities. But how can these technological developments be put into pedagogical perspective, and how do we have to design learning scenarios, as a result? These questions are tackled by the Learning-Research-Center.
